Hilda especially regrets her despotic rule over Hildegaria and is very sensitive about the subject. Hilda expresses the most remorse for what she's done, to the point of being self-deprecating, and doubts she can ever truly make up for her wrongdoings, which she reminds Alto of again and again. In contrast to her cold and cruel exterior, she is shown being very kind to her subordinates, though she is stern and harsh on them regarding their missions if need be.Īfter Klaus/Xeno's betrayal, Hilda and her Harbingers join the Tuning Knights in order to both atone for their past crimes and to help defeat the Mother Qualia and the angels. She will stop at nothing to achieve her goals of saving the world from destruction, even if it means killing people or doing otherwise immoral things to do so. Hilda's personality is antagonistic toward Alto and company at first, being cold and evasive when asked questions.
